Looking to fill tour dates, will gig swap

Hey all,

Haven't posted here in quite some time, and as such I'm not sure if this is the correct area to post for something like this. If it's not, please feel free to move it to the correct subsection!

Anyways, my band Knights is hitting the road and taking on our first national tour :hyper: We've got our dates booked up for the most part, but are having trouble filling a few. My question is, are any of you fine fellow bass brothers in a band, and looking for an opening band for any of the following dates?

Sunday July 24/Monday July 25- Will be in the Southeast (anywhere from Alabama, Georgia, Northern Florida, the Carolinas, and up to Virginia)

Friday July 29th/Saturday July 30th/Sunday July 31st- Will be in the Northeast (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, really anywhere as South as Washington, D.C., and as north as New Hampshire and everything in between.)

I know it's pretty short notice, and I shouldve thought of doing this sooner, but hopefully some of you guys can help a first-timer out!! In exchange, we can certainly get you/your band on a bill with us should you ever come through Austin, Texas or any of the surrounding areas (Dallas, Denton, San Antonio, etc..)

Anyways, I think that's about the skinny of it,I'll just leave ya'll with a link to our promo site, probably will wanna check out the sounds before putting your good name on the line for us haha. Look forward to hearing back from ya!

Regards,

-Cody

Where in Florida are you coming through? My band would be interested in opening, but it sounds like you need a bigger act to open up for. I know a couple of fairly big locals here, and maybe I could talk to some venue owners to get something set up.

I'm from the Saint Augustine/Jacksonville area, could conceivably travel.

P.S. Digging the sound! Very Muse like. Like your bass sound.

oniman,

Thanks for the compliments, appreciate it! Well, we're playing in Pascagoula, Mississippi on Saturday, July 23rd, so actually Jacksonville would be quite ideal for the next day, Sunday the 24th. Do you have any venues in mind that cater to more of our sound/scene?

P.S. Is there a site I can check out your music?

EDIT: Actually I just talked with the frontman/driver, he's wanting to keep a more Northeastern track on the road, just to help cut down fuel costs, so he doesn't want to play Florida at all :/ sorry about that! Is there anywhere in Georgia you know of/would be willing to travel to?

I don't know of any genre specific venues, but we have a gig next Friday at Brewster's Pit in Jax Beach. They play just about everything. We're more rock/metal.

Here's us: The Magistrate | Saint Augustine, FL | Rock / Progressive Rock | Music, Lyrics, Songs, and Videos | ReverbNation Only one song, no vocals. Hope to maybe get a live demo up.

Also, if you're interested, I think I know a GREAT local band for you guys to play with that I'm good friends with. They're a sort of rock electronica band with a female front.

They don't have a keyboard player any more, but I think they still capture the feel.

If you want, I can start talking to the venue owner to see what he says. I can also ask CCR if you liked them.

I know nothing of Georgia. If it's a sizable gig, we'd be willing to travel, but there are better bands than us for the time :p We'd only have a 45 minute set anyways. If you wanted a band from Florida, I could recommend some, but I'm sure there are plenty of talented Georgia bands.

Let me know if you ever do decide to hit Florida
