Looper question.

Sorry, I sorta searched through and never really found what I was looking for.

Basically what I want to do is pre record parts during a rehearsal, and then kick them into playback during a live peformance, whilst I play over the top of them.

Besides the Boss RC-xx pedals, do I have any other options? (also looking for a pedal with a not so massive footprint).

The Digitech JamMan is the ticket for that job I think. It has a disc drive where you can store loops for later.
