Lose a bass, gain a bass!

Ok so I got a bit of financial trouble and had to sell most of my basses, including my Vintage Modified P-Bass, and Classic Vibe P-Bass which were two of my main basses. Now I'm left with my fretless jazz, and '74 Gibson grabber. But with everything bad there's a little good I'm able to get my self a new amp head and two basses or one expensive one. I've set my heart on the GK BACKLINE 600 head, and I'm planning to get a new 4 & 5 string, have a few options but not sure yet. Help!?

the other bassist at my church had a Backline 600 and couldnt get rid of it fast enough
it wasnt cutting it for gigging purposes

are you currently gigging?
or is this just for messing around at home?

Id stay away from Backline anything from GK.

Buy some used stuff so you don't lose your shirt if you have to unload all your gear again.

I use and gig with a Backline 600. I also have 400RB-III and 700RB-II. The BL600 holds it's own. I think of it as the end of the line 400RB...after the mark 4 it got killed but the BL600 lives on.

I gig, and this Backline is actually good, it's my dads and he's selling it to me because he got the goldline 500 I believe, but I'll have it going thru my SVT 4x10 & 15 cabinets.

I've added another bass to tht list after going to a jam session earlier today, my guitarist brought his Fender FSR standard p bass, the one in natural with the tortishell pickguard and I fell in love with it. Now he won't part with his but I'd like to find one for myself
