I have a 15w practice amp I use in my bedroom, and lately the low end has been cutting out. Here's a video showing the problem:

If you notice, the low end kicks in if I push the tip of the cable down, but as soon as I let it up the lower frequency boom disappears. I also held the cable down with my foot to get the low end back on. I don't use this amp for recording or playing live, but it's still an annoyance (Especially today when I put new strings on and wanted to try them out).
Any ideas what it could be?
