Oh, Jebus. Either you have an extremely convoluted way of saying "I was wrong", or I should try one last time.
Previously on this program:
you did say "needs". You accused someone of presenting opinion as fact. Which never happened, because no one had done so. I pointed it out. Your reply seems to be that words don't matter. If the case, pretty strange position for one so enamoured with fact. That now you concentrate on the merit of the opinion while acknowledging that it may have been, indeed, an opinion could be described as an instance of moving the goalposts, but then it would be the Internet Logic Police at it again, God forbid.
I don't care about 432 or any other pitch reference. 440 words fine for me, as does any other A4 we happen to follow unknowingly when there aren't tuning forks or digital tuners or keyboards around. A+ (the mark, not the note) to you for discussing pitch references: I already commended you for that, and implied I'm with you on that one, so, while I did understand your reread-at-432 snark earlier, it was misdirected nonetheless. Oh, and I'd respectfully point out you should follow your own advice and re-read others' posts before going up in arms.
I have no opinion whether or not tuning lower than 440 fits the nature of reggae; your being so decidedly opposed to the idea is noted. At least you're back to discussing opinions, and not accusing the opponent of shoving their opinion in others' throats. Which was my point all along.
