My T bucket just arrived and I notice that the E string is much quieter acoustically, and even more so when plugged in.
The E string almost disappears relative to the other strings.
First time ABGer is this common?

  2. I had a similar Issue with the Fender Acoustic with the Jazz neck the E and A were not as loud as the D and G. I brought it back because the shops fix was you can EQ that Back in. I know there is a way to make them balanced but I havew no Idea how. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of this will jump in soon.

The most common cause for uneven ABG volume is that the bridge saddle isn't making good contact with the bottom of the slot.

You can try to fix it by sanding the bottom of the saddle or cutting it in half between the A and D strings so each side can find it's own level easier.

But first pull the saddle out and make sure there isn't any debris in the slot.
