Double Bass low volume on high notes with realist pickup

I've been having problems on amplified gigs when playing a solo that the volume drops drastically and loses it's brightness when I go to high notes starting from above the D, E notes on G string and definitely above the octave. After trying out a lot of things my guess is that this might be a regular problem with Realist pickups? Anyone else's been dealing with the same problem? Does switching to the Fishman full circle solves the problem?

Chris: thanks for the reply! yeah that was my thought as well that I should try the fishman full circle so that helps reading that you had the same problem and the full circle solved it!

Eric: I had this same problem on 2 different basses with the Realist and one of them has a really nice sound on the high notes acoustically. Maybe the problem could be solved with a different amp but to be honest I just really like my amp (EBS 60 combo). Well hopefully the full circle will solve this now! Anyway I've experienced the opposite what you write, really nice deep notes on E,A,D, getting weaker on G especially reaching high notes.
