Humm. I used to have a belt buckle that looked a whole lot like the lion head they got at end of the bass body. First time Ive seen a mfg useing soemthing like that as a trademark kinda.

The bass he is holding in his print ads is just waaayyyyy too over the top blinged out for me. Bet they are amazing instruments, but I could never get used to that huge gold lion bridge!

To add an organic touch to the Lowenherz bass appearance we incorporated natural motifs into the total concept. The upper horn resembles an ocean wave, the lower horn refers to the underside of a lobster´s claw. The position markers are mother-of-pearl diamond inlays. To connect to the legend of King Lionheart, the volume pot is always a big cross-ringo by Q-Parts. The pot knobs assembly again follows a natural pattern: which star sign is shown here?

I love the creativity and attention to detail but I've always found these basses to be a little lavish for my tastes.
