Lowest tension strings (flats, rounds, anything) for weak bass neck

Hey all, I'm putting together a parts mudbucker jazz bass and I had a Squier VM 77 maple jazz neck to put on it. It's a beautiful pearloid block neck that I got for a steal, so I'd really like to make it work if I can. The issue is that it's incredibly weak with a forward bow and clamping only straightened it out with the truss rod being maxed out.

I know about TI jazz flats but I'm looking at other options as well - D'Addario tapewounds, LaBella LTF, etc.

Out of the three mentioned, the LB LTFs are the lightest in tension, D'A Tapes the heaviest with TIJFs in between. Here I'm talking strictly about the actual pulling weight, not stiffness/flexibility.

There are roundwound "super light" sets 40-95, 35-90 and 30-85 that are even lighter than the above three.

I believe Squiers still use a single action trussrod, so you should be able to remove the TR nut, and add a few washers to get some more play out of the TR.

I would suggest light gauge strings whatever you get. I remember Rotosound funkmaster being both light gauge and fairly flexible too. If you want roundwound they would probably be a good option.

I was just going to mention the Roto Funkmasters, 30-50-70-90, which weigh in at only 107.39 lbs. That's more than 30 lbs. lighter than the TI Jazz Flats.
