Lucky!

Alright so ive been in the market for a j-bass for awhile. I was browsing the local buy and sell and saw a white fender MIM jazz bass for sale. The problem was- It was listed in january.

I had been out looking today and found nothing used anywhere. I was going to pick up a new one but decided to wait until i got my tax return.

Anyways, i get home eat dinner and see this ad. I decided to phone the number and the guy told me that the bass was gone.

He then phones me back and says "look, I traded it in today at long and mcquade. They gave me 200 bucks for it so i doubt they'll be selling it for alot." I then thanked him and rushed to phone there. They still had it so i told them to hold it for me while i race over and look at it.

Get there, and it needs a setup BAD. Otherwise, No dents/dings ect. The price.... 250 W/ a new hardshell case. Turns out their policy is that they will do a free setup on used equipment bought there aslong as you buy strings from them too.

Long story short- My parents are going to whoop me when they find out i bought another bass. I pick it up monday evening from getting set-up. Its olympic white with a white pickguard.

Im so excited:D
