Luthiers in Upstate New York

im looking for a luthier in the Upstate NY area. I have plans of either making a bass by myself or having one made for me. someone who doesn't limit the possibilities by only doing certain custom models. i would like to use a design i draw up. preferably someone who has reasonable prices as well. thanks
