M-Pulse 600 reliability

Was chatting with my guitarist about it who said that Mesa stuff isn't durable enough. Now, I have a Mesa guitar combo amp that had three problems that I had to fix (nothing like removing the chassis, and watching a power resistor fall out...). Also had a dodgy tube socket, and potentiometer problems.

But, may be pulling the trigger on an M-Pulse this week, used with 3 years warranty left. Really like the tone.

It's gotta be rock solid - I don't have the patience for problems at gigs. Also don't have the patience to fix it. Owners of M-Pulse 600s - how have they been? I'm interested in the opinion of folks that are gigging regularly with them.

Mine was perfect the whole time I owned it. I replaced it with a Titan which has been perfect as well.

Mine never lets me down. That's one of the big reasons I'd hesitate to ever go to anything else.

Mesa makes top notch gear. Among the very best in the biz. That said, any piece of electronic gear can have problems. There is no such thing as an infallable amp.

True, which is why the mesa transferable warranty is so badass

I've owned two m-pulse 600s... the first one was problem free the whole time I owned it. My current m-p 600 developed a problem in the power section, but thanks to the transferable warranty, mesa replaced the power section w/out charge.

I agree that no electronics manufacture produces a 100% bomb proof product... but mesa comes close and if there is a problem, mesa is one of the best at dealing with them.

He must have just got a bad one. The M-Pulse feels very solid.
