I'd like to thank all of you for your friendship, support and prayers and thank the Lord for listening to you because now after 3 1/2 years of battling a stage 4 kidney cancer, I can finally have the last surgery. Jan. 24 the surgeons at Stanford Hospital will remove the last of the tumors on the outside of my lungs, 3 1/2 yrs. ago they removed one kidney and it tumor.

During this time, the Lord allowed me to live a quality life that encludes my ability to continue playing bass despite the side effects.

I'd like us all to continue praying and supporting our other fellow bassists who are battling this desease.

I can't thank you enough for your prayers, PM's and wishes you've shared in your posts.

Bless all of you,

Gary

Gary, I just had the thought that not many people have seen into themselves as deeply as someone who's been through what you have. I hope that what you found there continues to give you strength and comfort.

Allan

Yeah, I dug deep. The last 3 1/2 years have been the best quality of life I've experienced and plan to keep it that way. It truely is amazing what you'll find. :hyper:
I wouldn't have found this quality if it were not for family, friends and the good Lord of above all looking out for me.

Hey Joker, I won't make it to NAMM this year though, to much to do. First one I've missed in ages, I'll mostly miss the hang in the evenings with the Fodera and Epifani family of friends.

Many thanks to all of you for your best wishes, thoughts and prayers.

Gary, I had a problem with my pm's and lost your message
My brother, I give GOD the praise for what is happening in your life!
My prayers continue to be with you and for your FULL recovery!
It makes my heart smile to read your words, and gives me hope.
All the way in your corner, bro!
A.
