Im taking on a bass project and im starting to look at hardware for it.
The body and neck:

Im looking to get some nice white/pearl machine heads but cant seem to find any.
I've heard tales (on youtube) of being able to drill out guitar machine heads and using them?
Any suggestions for gear will be hugely appreciated as im flying blind at the moment really.
