I am using a Mackie 1400i power amp with a ZOOM B3 as the pre amp input. Anybody have any experience in using this model of power amp for amplification?
I want to run a Carvin 410 cab and a Trace Elliot 15 in dual mono mode respectively. From the looks of the diagram on the back of Mackie, dual mono mode is the switch all the way in the middle between stereo typical and bridged mode. One mono output from the last pedal in my chain from my pedal board into the input on channel one. Two separate outputs from channel one and two to two separate cabinets, the Carvin and the TE. Manual states that Channel one controls the output with its gain knob, but if you also have the subwoofer switch "on" it can "sum" the inputs of the two channels........I am assuming internally........this way giving you separate output gain controls with channel one and two one controlling the Carvin cab and TE cab separately.
Has anybody ever done this before out there? Any experience?
