It would be acoustic guitars and vocals for the most part. Anything beyond that and I'll use my existing subwoofer system.

Mackie C200's - the passive ones - Any experiences ?

i dont know about the passive ones, but the powered ones are quite capable for being so small. i cant imagine much is lost in the passive ones provided it is fed a reasonable amount of power.
Well these are landed and have a few gig's on them. They are sweet! Very nicely detailed in the vocal/acoustic guitar range and they will get louder than you'd believe given their size.
First gig was a 3 piece power trio doing blues & country and early rock stuff. Lot's of 2 part harmony behind a lead vocal. Lot's of vocals in general Moderate volume as while we can, we don't like to peel the paint off the walls volume wise. I gave the Mackies one side of a QSC GX3 each and dialed in a little bottom. Next time out with that band I'm taking a sub, mic'ing the kick and we're turning it up a bit ... I would have used the sub under my old EON G1's as well...
Last night I drove them in mono with one side of a Yamaha EMX5000/12, the others side did 2 floor monitors. This is a trio of two dreadnaughts, my bass and 3 voices.
To get a similar sound to my old EON's I boost 60 about 3 db and cut 125 & 250 about the same. I dial in a presence peak at roughly 4K - 1, maybe 2 db and leave everyhing else alone.
Half the size and a little more than half the weight. Get 'em at AMS at $200 per side! MF has the same deal as well. AMS doesn't charge sales tax or freight to where I live and MF does so a little cheaper for me to go AMS. Gig Bag's were something like $35 each from EBay

thought you would like em. ive been resisting a pair of these for a month now. i dont *need* them, but their compactness certainly is appealing. my "main" wedges are 15" yamaha clubs 
---- they are good-sounding, loud, and solid, if not particularly awe-inspiring, and "compact" is a word that is truly out of place in their description. however, two of these mackies would easily fit in the same footprint as one of the yammies in the truck, and they weight *substantially* less. th cd sounds good on these, and their small size doesnt compromise the low end any worse than lots of other (and larger) wedge-shaped offerings, especially when compared to, say, a $200 anything from peavey or behringer.
