Mackie Mix12fx Opinions

Has anyone tried a Mackie Mix12fx, or the 5 or 8 for that matter? They're pretty cheap, but I cannot find any reviews online.

I am using a 402-vlz3 right now but could use the extra inputs and effects. Thoughts?

Muddy... An older VLZ and decent used effects unit can be had for cheap used and will blow the mixFX or cfx mixers out of the water audio quality wise.
