It's a subwoofer, so it's not suitable as a bass amp if that's what you're thinking. It's not full range.

That is how you are sending the signal to the next speaker hooked up.
High passed to another sub or Full range (un effected) to a PA top. This Sub cab will always be High passed.

I've got a couple of the thump go and they work great for cocktail sets and such.
Maybe I'll just get one of these and have a little extra booty

Running on battery power tends to result in some serious performance trade offs. Battery power is useful when power is not reasonably available. However, it's usually not a good trade off to simply eliminate the requirement to run a power cord.

123dB peak is not impressive. That most likely means 117dB continuous.

AFAIK the companion battery powered PA cabs include the Thump Go and Thump Showbox. So you could assemble a full-range battery powered rig if you like.

A sub and main would be great. They sound awesome. Add a battery powere pedal board like a Pedaltrain Volto with a preamp pedal and you're good to go.

Sub-woofers for bassists are typically the province of FOH. As part of a bassists stage rig, the only ones I've heard that sounded good were extremely expensive, heavy, and large, and they were deployed in large venues in collaboration with FOH.

Bedroom players sometimes think adding sub-bass sounds cool, but in 60 years as a bassist, I have heard the sound of a bass helped by subs far less often than pushing bass through subs has made things sound worse - even most sound professionals these days are guilty of pumping subs so hard that the mix that the sound ends up being muddy and indistinct.

Decide whether it's bedroom tone you're after, or professional bass tone. For the latter, I highly recommend Mesa's Subwayline of amps and cabs.

Traynor has a bass combo, the BM12Mobile. 1-12" (8 ohm), 300W@8 ohms, 600W@4 ohms (with 8 ohm extension). It has a rechargeable battery pack and the wattage when run on battery is down to 80W@8ohm, 120W@4 ohms.

Now there is a useful amp. 80 watts might not be seem like much, but when busking it would be plenty. When you have access to a wall outlet, then you're going to get almost 6dB more level. The amp charges whenever it's plugged in, even if it's in use on a gig.
