Not sure how I did this but I somehow cut the pieces and assembled a TL 606 cab that is narrower than the plans. (DUH!)It is other wise solid and according to plans.As I was preparing to cut hole and install baffle for Basslite 15" speaker, I noticed that the baffle is just 16.5 " wide and fits snugly into cabinet. The speaker is 15.3" od. Will this severely affect the performance of the cab? What to do? Cut baffle for a 12"? 2 10s? Throw it out? Please help!

You didn't mention the original plan size so there's no way to tell exactly what the narrower cab means or how big a difference there is from the original plans.
The smaller box will have less internal volume than the original plan and so the box tuning will be higher from the original.
This might not be a problem unless the modified cab is a lot smaller than the plans call for.
Your 15" speaker will still fit on the baffle board so the sun will still come up tomorrow. You might be able to compensate for the smaller box volume somewhat by adjusting the port size a bit smaller or longer.

You have reduced the cabinet volume to approx 3.0 cu ft from 3.2 cu ft. Retuning the port is a must.

It was taking me longer than I wanted to spend to find the specs. I have a couple of Kappa Pro 15" in need of a home. The TL606 might be a good place to put them. The cab design seems real easy to build and tune.

As B-string suggests adjusting the port size should be looked at and adjusting box tuning will be very easy.
It isn't so much about the cover-on tuning being off target as it is the cover-off tuning being too high. Per-spec cover-off tuning is 55hz, which is as high as I'd care to go...especially with anything stronger than a 200 watt amp, any amount of boost on the bass knob, or any bass running lower than a standard tuned 4-string...or any upright regardless of size or scale.
If you run it with the port cover on all the time anyway, can leave it as is.
