Maiden Voyage

    OK so I've had my Ibanez for a few days. I haven't bought an amp yet, just been learning a little by playing through a Rockman Bass Ace.
    Today I take my bass over to a friend who works at Music-Go-Round to show it off and he plugs it into a Crate BX100. I strike a note... and... melt.

    He got this sh!t eating grin on his face and said: "Dude, I've seen you on stage dozens of times behind your Nobles and you've NEVER made a face like that!

    NOW I get it!!!

    There's nothing like that feeling in the whole world! You've just crossed over into the low side. :D
