make a headless bass

For my project I went with the individual ABM tuner bridges and it was appropriate to have a custom end piece made from plaster cast of the end of the broken neck, but dguitarparts.com was somewhere I had looked. If you don't need a custom option then that's where to shop!

Are the single tuner bridges on the dguitarparts.com site as well?? I'm not seeing them?? Also, what is the nut width of the ABM headpiece?? I'm going to convert a P parts bass I have here, I got the BUG :) If I have to, I'll make my own headpiece because I want at least a 1 5/8" P bass nut width.

Yeah, I had looked into the "mono rails", whoo, they were not cheap, by any stretch of the imagination.... The cheapest I had found was $60 each. I drew up some similar ones, to try making them, i'll be trying this in the near future.

You need to find someone wit a trade account with AllParts - they'll come in around $45 each bought that way. Still costly, but very easy to use/install/etc.

You might try contacting Dave Bunker @ Invalid Link Removed
He used to sell 3 different mounting versions of his patented bridges (all in 4, 5 & 6 string) on his website. He has a new site and they are no longer listed but I'm certain he still manufacturers and uses them on his basses. I have them on two Bunker basses and they work incredibly well. Ken
