Making a Custom Headstock Logo

Hey, i just bought a new fretless squier and I'd like to strip the "squier" off the headstock, no im not ashamed in any way of owning a squier, i just think itd be cool to have a custom logo on there such as "Jerm" just kind of a nickname. How should I go about doing this, can I just buy some kind of application paper at a local hardware store?

I used this guy....

for not a lot of money at all he put my design on a waterslide transfer.

Sand off the Squier logo and the rest of the head stock front. apply a couple of coats of laquer, apply the transfer and then add some more coats of lacquer - he inven includes instructions if you need them.

BTW my only connection is as a customer.
