For practicing purposes and more, I have just purchased a focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and i would like to make some bass covers. My first question is whether using ableton live 9 or another DAW, especially an easier one as I am totally newbie, can eliminate the original bass and then playing the bass part to create the cover.
I am not familiar of these techniques, so please start if possible from the basics.
