Marcus Miller at Bass Bootcamp

I've really discovered slap bass is like reggae music for me, I can only stand for 1 MAYBE 2 songs of it.
Slapping is certainly a big part of what Marcus is known for, but what makes him great is much more than that. He’s an extremely well-rounded musician with some incredible experience in the field. Don’t let the slap put you off listening to his observations and stories. :)

I previously had an aversion to the slap & pop technique but what happened was I got a call for a gig that had a number of songs that require it. I decided to embrace it and make it part of my practice routine; now I'm ready when I get those calls- and they've called me A LOT.
