Put me in for a number. I'm a HUGE M2 fan. He's the guy that really got me into slap bass; everything he does is so musical, it's awesome. His solo albums are great, but his live albums are phenomenal.
yup, the pickgaurd is custom, it has a East preamp, badass bridge, and norstrom pups, and a VERY NASTY GROWL.
Got to dig Marcus. I was on his web page and made a reference to his playing on the Grover Washington LP Winelight. Now I don't know if it was him or not but I got a reply from Marcus saying that record was one of his best times in the studio brought back a lot of fond memories for him. Wow made me an even bigger fan because he took the time to reply to a fans message of praise.
I'm a huge Marcus fan. I love his stuff, his bass, everything. I've been trying to gain as much from his technique as I can. My band actually plays 3 Marcus covers, Come Together, Jean-Pierre, and Bruce Lee. Got to give it to that pork pie hat!
