Marcus Miller Jazz Bass vs. Warwick FNA Jazzman

From experience, I'd tell you that if you can only afford one bass, I would go with the Marcus Miller. I traded my Valenti for a Warwick but ended up trading the Warwick for another Jazz bass because I thought the Warwick was too specific sounding. It's great if you can afford multi basses or if you strictly play originals. But playing motown, hendrix etc. covers with the Warwick turned me off.

On the other hand, I have a friend who only has a Warwick and is really happy with it. Somehow he can make the bass sound like he wants... then again he's a producer.
