This is the second video I have seen of him on this fretless Modulus Six. He sounds like typical Marcus on a fretless and that is a very good thing!
Cool! I never saw him play on a six string bass before. That video is from ‘97. Does he still play six string?
Marcus can play anything and everything Bass.

I saw Marcus Miller with a fretless Sterling in St. Louis back in June 2015.

there’s a live release of that band from Montreux with Miller on that Modulus which imo is a vastly better recording
he use that bass on “True Gemini’s “ from his “Tales” album
