This one time, we like, toked up or whatever and man, like everthing was so, like, beezownawoowzah, but then like when we came down n' stuff, everything was like so, like I dunno man, like neener neener neener boombah. Then I met God, and he was exactly like The Dude Lebowski...

I have only smoked like 10 times , it makes me dumb as hell. I get real sleeping play banjo kazooie on my old N64 and then ass out, time drags by really slow when i get high.

Basically i dont like the stuff, i never payed for it and the majority of the times i smoked was because i was drunk. When i am buzzed i cant play worth crap , i cant pluck the notes fast enough, which proves that even buzzed driving is drunk driving due to delayed reaction times. Oh and i am not suppose to be drinking anyways.

Are you sure your weed was not laced with something lol

Sometimes good sometimes bad. If your looking to write a song, or perform in front of an audience, stay away from weed. I get lost on song forms and sometimes make some reallllly over the top fills haha. Although, some of my song ideas and different riffs have come from jams or recordings of jams that were done under the influence.

For a tip top ship shape show, I want my head to be firing on all gears so no weed until post show.

i smoke everyday, multiple times a day.

it helps.
It helps what? IME, prolonged daily use helps get you lazy and forgetful (or just plain stupid). Yes, I used to partake multiple times daily. I've tried every kind you could imagine and then some. I had been smoking since my early teens and into my late thirties.

I'm glad I quit. I'm better for it. I don't drink anymore, either.

Back before I had a career and a family, I was playing a long set at a bar for the owner's private birthday party. Everyone there had plenty to drink. I got baked between sets 2 and 3. Came back inside to play and halfway into the second song, the guitarist/lead vocalist was looking at me like I had a third arm growing out of my forehead. I looked at him and during an instrumental bridge I told him, "I'm right on time. I'm leaning against the drum rack, and I can feel the bass drum." He said, "It's not your timing. You're playing the wrong song." Never again.

Mileage varies widely.

I developed an appreciation for classical music while baked.

As far as playing, I personally find it helps, as long as I don't overdo it, but then, I'm naturally a very tense person, and a few hits chills me out enough that I don't get frustrated and unplug when I'm not sounding the way I want to or nailing a lick in a song I'm trying to learn instead of tweaking the EQ or trying again (and again) until I get it right.

Some people, it helps, some people, the effect is neutral, some people it throws way off.

Mixing it with alcohol isn't a good idea, though. Throws off the fine muscle coordination too much.
