Mark Bass 4x10 cab with SVT 10s?

The neodymnium 10s in my Mark Bass 4x10 8 ohm cab are getting sloppy. I'm thinking of replacing them with SVT Eminences. Opinions on how well this would work?

The cones in Markbass neodymium speakers have a surprisingly long range of travel made more obvious because they're yellow. If you hit them with high levels of very low frequencies they will move about a lot. If they are still working I'd reduce sub bass going to them either with the amp EQ or even better a high pass filter device.
Oh, the answer to your question is that you'd be really lucky swapping out the speakers without doing a whole load of calculations and it working well.

Drivers from a sealed cab into a ported box not made with those drivers in mind? OP, I'd recommend against that. If you need replacements, use the OEM.

"Getting sloppy"?
It would be worth doing a real evaluation before spending money on fixing a problem that doesn't exist.

You might consider using a HPF to cut out the lowest frequencies, to reduce stress on your speakers and clean up the bottom end.
