mark bass question

im asking about the little mark tube(500),he has 2 inputs
so does that mean that he can be used for 2 different cabs
in a split single way (i think stereo is the term im looking for)
where each single goes to a different cab?

A stereo amp will do what you want, but not what you have now.

and one last question for you guys know that ricks have the option built
in and for guitars that there isnt you need to use a box that split the
signal,can someone give a recommendation for such a thing ?

You mean as in a stereo effect? Many pedals return a stereo signal, not much use live imo.

thanks but i looked up information and got pretty much what i wanted to know
too bad you have to mod a bass to have a stereo jack before you can even
use a y cord (stereo cord into two mono)or a stereo effect ,i think it will be
easier to use signal spilter into the wanted effects and from there to blend
the signal back into one amp,that however is more of a topic for the effects
forum and not here but anyway thanks for all the answers.

What does your manual say they are for? Usually when there's two inputs, one is for passive basses and one is for active basses.

After (re)reading the thread, guess I'm a little too late to the party. I would think if you really wanted to go stereo, you would have two amps, one for each side of a stage, and plug into one input each. Then again, what do I know ... my rig's pretty simple.

basically all i wanted was to have the option to run two signals(so one i can use effect and the other one keep clean).
it would have been easier to have just one head and two cabshowever thats not possible and even if i use 2 heads and
2 cabs i'll still need to modify the bass for a stereo jack and the costs are just too high(an example to what im looking for
is the rick-o-sound like option).

Tell me more of this rico magic system? I'm guessing it's the feeds from seperate pickups?

Most of us make do with effect on and effect off or loops of pedals on/off. Most of my pedals have blending control of effected and pure signal output. I'm struggling with what you are trying to achieve that isn't standard proceedure.

its hard for me to explain because as you said its not something really poplar
the bast way i can describe what i want is the ric system where you split
the signal (in that case the 2 signals are the 2 pickups),i'll find another
solution and work on it or i could save money to buy a ric(take more time
but its the most easy solution)

Or just remove the blend and tone control on your bass and make outputs from each pickup. Either way you need another amp and you have to lug it all for every gig.

As you don't seem to have any sonic reason for the palava, I vote fagedaboudit.
