I bought this on TB---- it was very beat up, looks like it tumbled off the back of a truck.
It was also blowing line fuse. I own a Markbass 112 combo, so I though I'd "practice" working on this one in case mine ever stops working. Since SMPS's are used in lots of gear, it would at least be a learning experience.
Though time consuming, I was successful in my endeavor (1 output Mosfet and a couple of power supply components). This thing is well built and I doubt if the fall was the cause of the failure. Most likely, it was run at a load less than the rated 4 ohms or hooked up with a shorted speaker cord. I have about 4 other amps, so I'm letting this one go.
You can see that the frame is still distorted (by AC inlet), but the amp works well.
Buy will have to use their own power cord.
