Markbass LMK question

see thats what i was thinking--I love my LMII clean sound, but when i use distortion over it, I lose all that clarity. While it may also be an issue of getting the right distortion, I was thinking about if i used a distortion with a clean out, I could send the clean to one channel and the distortion to the dirt and then I could also EQ then separately as well. Making it somewhat of a double LMII setup yet going to one cab. Or I was thinking of getting a sansamp RBI and using it just for distortion, having the clean thru into one channel and the dirty channel into the second channel.

In the Manual, which is downloadable from Markbass, on pagina 11, it states that they can be blended. You do not need a splitter, simply use the small switch located between the Level 2 and Low k'nobs on the channel 2. Sorry if this info is outdated, just took possession of one today.
