Markbass TA501 + which box?? please HELP!!

Hiiii everyone!

I'm new here.. and i have question that bothered me few past weeks!!! :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

i got MB TA 501 haead, and i cant decide which box is best for that head?

MB 2x10 on 4ohm, 2x10 8o + 1x15 8o, or maybe 2x12 on 4o

i plal quite loud.. with plenty of slaping, energy fingers style,, lot lot lot groove, and prog rock!!

or maybe some other brand for smaller money will suite this powerfull head!!

THANX!!! and sorry for my bad language!! :hmm:

For your style 210 probably won't cut it. 212 or 410 should do quite nicely and with neo drivers are easy to transport. If you think you will add another cab (always the same type) get an 8ohm, otherwise get a 4ohm. Simple as that.

I don't know which cab is the best to pair with a TA501, as I didn't try them all. I use two 8Ohm TC Electronic RS210's with my TA-501 though, and I am very happy.

The RS210 are great cabs for a reasonable price, and together they are plenty loud for any gig situation (maybe except big stadiums). I also like the sound a lot better than the Markbass 210's I tried. They have plenty of bottom, but also plenty of definition without getting harsh. I don't see any reason for going 210+115, as I can get anything out of 210+210.
I find two 210's stacked vertically very handy: easy to transport, plenty loud, top cab is at ear level so no need to bring anything to raise it with, small footprint, ...
