I’m selling my Maruszczyk Cazpar 5-string short scale, weighing in at only 7lb 7oz (Note: the top image is before a string-through conversion). It sounds great, but I realized that headless basses are better for my physical limitations. Full specs are included below. I paid $1,786 a year and a half ago, and am asking for $1200 shipped CONUS (sent via PayPal Friends and Family) or $1240 CONUS (via PayPal for goods/services). No trades unless you have a headless 5-string.
It is in Excellent condition from the headstock to the bridge and only left home once. I couldn't find any scratches, with the exception of the headstock which has a small ding and scratch, pictured below.
IMPORTANT: Below the bridge, there is cosmetic damage, which is why the price is reduced. I had a "master luthier" do a string through conversion so that I would have an increased selection of short scale 5-string strings. The modification was successful with no functional issues. However, cosmetically it was poorly done and caused surface damage, as seen in the images below.
