Amazing looking, playing and sounding Maruszczyk Frog 5 string headless bass. This has been my 'gateway' Maruszczyk bass*.

Adrian and his team of Luthiers at Maruszczyk (Mensinger) in Poland build some amazing instruments and this is a fantastic example.

The neck is thin and one of the best I've played and the back of the body is contoured, thin and super comfortable. Also, the Noll preamp with Delano pickups offer a super versatile tonal range from a great sounding P-bass to MM and everything in between making it sound amazing - it is a TONE-MONSTER. Since it's headless it balances perfectly, the upper horn makes the reach feel shorter and it plays more like a 32" vs a 34" scale.

Here are the specs:
- 5 string headless 34" scale
- Alder body with natural finish Spalted maple top with Wenge veneer
- Set in 3-part maple neck with matte finish, carbon fiber rods, 14" radius, 45mm nut
- Zero fret setup with low action (tapered B and E strings)
- ETS headless hardware (2-part bridge) with 19mm bridge string spacing that can be adjusted to 18mm and as narrow as 17mm
- Noll TCM 4 XM preamp with Vol PP (active/passive), Blend, Stacked High/Low Mids, Stacked Bass/Treble
- Delano PC5 AL/M2 split coil
- Delano MC 5 AL Humbucker with switch for series/split coil/parallel
- Dunlop strap locks
- Comes with Maruszczyk gig bag seen in photo
- Weight 8.6lbs via bathroom scale

This bass is in excellent condition, I've looked it over and I can only find 2 small scratches (see photos). Happy to answer any questions, add photos, etc. (about this bass or my others).

*I bought this from the original owner about 3yrs ago and loved the build quality, tone and playability so much that I have ordered 2 more headless custom-built Maruszczyk's with my own specifications - select custom top, necks, electronics, etc. (not all found in the configurator). I just received the first Maruszczyk/Mensinger/Cazpar 32" headless bass about a month ago (15 week wait) and my 2nd, Maruszczyk/Paddock 34" headless/fretless/piezo (8 month wait) should arrive next week. You could order your own directly, but expect to spend more and wait 15 weeks minimum.

Not interested in trades.

Man, I've been starting to drool over Maruszczyk's lately. THIS is a great example of why!
Yeah, like I said this one was my gateway-bass :woot: my Cazpar is amazing and the Paddock that’s on the way is gonna be crazy :). The build quality is just fantastic and they just play so easily and sound great.

I'm the original owner of this bass, can confirm it's a beauty and plays like butter. The neck is magical, and the P/MM combo has always been one of my favorites - tremendously versatile tonal options between the pickups, blend, MM coil switcher, and the Noll EQ.

I have also done multiple deals and had tons of correspondence with Bart over the years. He's a top notch guy I consider a friend and he will take care of you!
