Continuing my _Dang! I've Got Too Much Stuff_ sell-a-thon here...

You can have my MAS 112 8 ohm cab (the version with the Faital woofer) for $700 if you cover the shipping or we can meet up for the exchange. (I have the original box.)

Wheels on the back edge with a grab handle for tipping and rolling it. Nice padded strap handles on the sides for lifting. Minor wear marks from use, but I take good care of gear and cart it myself. Comes with a very nice Studio Slips padded cover, with cutouts for the three handles and the wheels.

Here's the builder's web page: Welcome to Michael Arnopol Soundworks

Damn, that's one nice cabinet. I am interested but I have node how it will sound. I use one of wo heads, A 2000 Eden 400, and a Genz Benz hustle max 9.2. I play mostly progressive rock music with a Ric 4003 and P Bass and MM fretless.

I grew up on Acoustic 361 bass amps (still have em) and the 2-10's/4-10's to me lack balls.

Thoughts? How much do you think shipping to 06840?

The Genz will put about 500 watts into 8 ohms, right? That'll be fine. (I've used a GK MB fusion 800 and Mesa D-800 with this, and they are enough to get plenty loud!) The Eden, though...200 into 8 ohms? Well, not enough to get loud loud.

One thing I love about MAS 112 cabs is how they are clear and punchy, and meaty. I would figure it would present the tone personalities of your basses in a very pleasing light.

Gimme a couple minutes to estimate shipping. I gotta get box dimensions, and weight of the cab...

Y'know...if someone wanted to trade a Mesa Subway 15 cab for this, straight across, I'd be up for it...

Oh, poop. Deal fell through. The cab's still available--come and get it!

Just repeating: I'd be interested in a trade for a Mesa Subway 1-15 cab...

How much does it weigh, how much in the box, and dimensions? I've been known to do crazier things....
Now watching thread...

Howdy, and thanks for your interest!

IIRC the cab itself weighs around 55 pounds or so, from what I've read on the Big-E thread. I'd do the bathroom scale method, but my right shoulder is gimpy from glenohumeral arthritis (replacement surgery coming up in December), so I don't think I should try to pick it up and step on the scale. There's a good chance I'd drop it, now that my shoulder is pretty much toast.

From the shipping label that brought it to me:

62 pounds in the cardboard box. (Guess the padded cover would add a couple pounds to that.)

37 x 22 x 20 for the dimensions. (And just checked those with a tape measure.)

Other than the woofer, and other options/upgrades on this guy? And any idea what it would cost to ship to California? I see some guys talk about $50 to ship cabs, others $300, so I have no frame of reference.
Thanks!

And thank you for your interest!

The wheels and the grab handle were an option when it was built. And the cover is aftermarket. Studio Slips covers are top quality.

I can estimate the shipping from your zip code. PM me if you'd rather not post it publicly.
