Ok, I'm re-listing this one after pulling it off the auction block. I'm sure I'll regret it; I hope this goes quickly.
Up for sale is my dead mint Matt Pulcinella Level 5. If you don't know Matt Pulcinella he's a small builder out of the NE that makes incredible instruments. Search them here on TB and you'll find lots of glowing reviews.
This particular Level 5 is set up to Matt's personal tastes with a Musicman bridge p/u and a Pbass pickup in the neck. Both the MM and P faithfully reproduce those sounds and really sound incredible when used together. Both pickups are Nordstrand and it has an Aguilar OBP3 preamp.
It's 35" scale, but feels and plays like a shorter scale bass due to the upper horn extending further up the neck than most. The shop I bought it from actually sold it to me as a 34", but I measured it at 35". It has great neck feel, medium thickness, really fast playing. Beautiful birdseye maple neck, swamp ash body. Cherry burst finish.
18mm spacing at the bridge. 8.64 lbs. The lightest bass I've ever owned. Sits on a strap really well.
I tried to get a photo of the one tiny, imperfection in the clear coat. It's hardly perceptible and not easily caught on camera. No buckle rash. This thing it totally mint.
The neck is dead straight. No noise whatsoever in the pots, strung with brand new Chromes. Recently setup by Sonfather Guitars in Rocklin, CA.
It will ship in a brand new but not awesome gig bag. Happy to send more pics or answer any questions.
$1250 shipped
Not interested in trades at the moment, cash is king! Oh well, maybe an octave pedal.
Thanks for looking!
