Mayones Jabba 4 String info

I'm having a hard time finding some reviews on what appears to be a great J bass by Mayones.

Despite it having the somewhat odd and unfortunate name of Jabba, it looks like a really nice bass.

Anyone have any feedback?

I'm really interested in:

String balance (especially with the E string)
Weight
balance
Fingerboard radius (is it really 20"?)
tone (of course)
etc. . . . .

Hello,

Mine just arrived 2 days ago. Here's the skinny.

The neck is sort of a cross between a Jazz neck and a Precision neck. Beefy, but not too beefy. Definitely an adjustment from my Schechter Stilletto which has the fastest neck around. I must admit that bass feels like a toy now when I play it.

The action on the bass arrived dead low. No fret buzz. Intonation is perfect. I love places that care enough to set up a guitar at the factory. Smooth pots, unbelievably tight seams. It feels solid and incredibly well made.

A couple notes. The bass is BIG and HEAVY. A full 4" longer than my old bass and 1.5 lbs heavier.

That size and weight I guess is why the sound is so mean and responsive. It has the best-sounding E of any bass I've ever played in my 25 years of playing. The active/passive switch is a GREAT option. Tons of tonal possibilities. The Seymour Duncans are awesome.

Sorry for the rambling response, but it's really just a great bass. You'll love it for whatever style you play!
