Just got one, used, in very nice shape. I took it to my first real gig last night, a pickup trio running tunes and having our way with them. They're good players who listen, some nice nimble stuff went down (and some clams! 
).
My impression, after listening to the phone recording in headphones, was basically that it's a very polite box that makes its own space in a live mix. Well that's what I've always thought when hearing other people play through them, but now I know I'm not so special. Lol!
Standing near it while playing, it came off as boomy- which I didn't like so much, but I'm sure it's going to take a half dozen outings to get my act together with it, I'm slow with deciding about new gear. I'm also thinking that running into a SanSamp on the way to the amp 's input might bring some of the old teeth and grunt back into my sound. This cab does definitely have its own signature, it's very much baked in.
I'm using a Mesa TT-800, favoring the Boogie channel generally. Depends on the bass, cab, etc, sometimes the Subway channel does it for me. Last night it was the Boogie.
The good part of this little cab's sound is that it puts your bass into the room without becoming overbearing. I don't know how they do that but it seems very efficient in this way. And it's as light as a pair of sneakers (I always did say I thought Markbass products look like part of a sneaker display, lol). But I got it primarily because it's easy to carry around for regular gigs. If you play a lot of cover gigs, this is a great feature, especially when you work manual labor and have arthritis to deal with. Honestly I don't know how it can even make any sound- what's in there anyway??!
Anyone else have remarks about these particular cabs? Are you happy with what you're getting out of it sound-wise?
