I don't understand what you're talking about here. McCartney gets major respect and is clearly comfortable doing anything he chooses. The Cavern is the fourth surprise gig in the last month (the others were the Philharmonic Pub (Liverpool), Abbey Road Studios, and the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts) and his second solo Cavern Club gig. Comfort doesn't appear to be an issue.

If I had the incredible good fortune to see Paul playing live in that venue, and he requested no videos or pics, I'd comply without hesitation. I'd carry that rare performance around in my memory to my eventual demise.

Screw "Pics or it didn't happen". I would know what happened and that's what matters.
