Memorizing Bass Clef Notes

My mnemonics:
Bass Clef:
ACEG - All Cows Eat Grass
GBDFA - Good Bassist Don't Forget Anything
Treble Clef:
FACE - uhm... it spells 'face'...
EGBDA: Every Good Boy Does Fine

I still use these all the time, but it falls down when you move off the standard 5 lines. Moving off the top of the staff is relatively easy, but it takes me twice as long to alphabet backwards to a low C, for example...

Also, I didn't read a lot of the posts, but another way to do it.

If you know treble clef, move EVERYTHING down ONE line or space.

Old thread...but I use this method.

Coming from piano lessons, I had to read both. But I fell into a mode of reading chord charts and just the Treble clef, so I got good at treble clef.

So when I started playing bass, and focused on Bass Clef, I first used All Cars Eat Gas. Now, I just move everything down, and use the treble clef mnemonic, Every Good Boy does Fine, starting at low E. It works for me.
