Without meaning to offend anyone, I wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas. Whether or not you are a Christian, if you yearn for peace on earth, love your neighbors, wish the best for other people, and hope for a brighter future this is the holiday for you, because it encompasses all of those things and more. Truly hope all is well with you and your families and wish the best for you in 2021. God bless you!!!

Nobody has said "Happy Festivus!" yet, so I will. And now, a story, in honor of Lester Young. Ruby Braff caught him smoking a bone at the Newport Jazz Festival. "What are you doing, man?" Lester waved it at him and said, "This is a festival, right? So let us be festive!"
