Rock and roll.... I have up for sale my Mesa Big Block 750. I think the Mesa description from their website says it best "Simplicity rules! No high-tech overkill between you and fast, fat tone. Straight-ahead circuitry delivers instant attack with massive authority. Just the brutal, potent truth, served up with mighty attitude." No worries about your guitar player and drummer drowning you out with this baby. 750 watts @ 2 ohms and 550 watts @ 4 ohms. Simul-State Power / 12 Tube Driven Power MOSFET's, 4x12AX7 The amp is good shape, with a few scratches here and there. I just bought it (used) a couple of months ago, and it has never left my house. I'm afraid I don't know how old it is and I do not have the footswitch. I will include a ProTec 2 space rack bag. Edit added 1/7/2015...The amp just sits in the case and is not attached to rack rails. When I got the case, the rack rail holes did not match the ones on the amp. I have drilled them out, but they need to be threaded to accept a rack screw. It still makes a nice case for the amp. Price is $700 $675 $650 $625 $600 shipped to the lower 48. The only trade I might consider would be an Aguilar DB750/751 (+ some cash on my end). If you have any questions, feel free to send me a conversation or shoot me an e-mail to [email protected]. Thanks for looking!
I have to be honest, I'm not sure. I'm not really an overdrive kind of guy. Any two button footswitch should work if you are concerned. You can pick up a Voodoo for 40 bucks...
Any interest in a bass trade? http://www.talkbass.com/threads/1986-nt-charvel-3b-mint.1123748/#post-16801118
Since I edited the inital post regarding the rack bag, I have decided to also drop the price a bit... $650 shipped...
Depending on when it was made, the distortion and mute buttons may be push/pull and the footswitch isn't needed. My 750 has the footswitch and he push/pull option. Huge Mesa tone and a monster OD channel on this beast make it a beast. GLWTS!
For those of you concerned about not being to access the tuner/mute and switchable overdrive, I will throw in a brand new two button footswitch. Here is a stock photo of the footswitch that will be included. Thanks....
I have an Eden WT550 in great shape, it has rack ears with it and a few rack rash scratches. It is a 2006 that has been checked out and cleaned by a local authorized repair shop with a great bill of approval! Let me know if you wanna trade.....thanks
I appreciate the offer, but I've decided to concentrate on finding the Aguilar DB750 (although the Eden WT550's are great amps). I've edited my original post as well. Thanks...
