DB110's??? No such beastie. The Aguilar SL112's might be worth checking out.
I haven't played through a wide variety of 112's but really love the WA tone through 2xDB112's. They really do have a huge amount of bass and the WA EQ is great to tame em. Having 2x112 boxes is really versatile too. I have one set up at each of my 2 jam spaces - then put em together for gigs.
My only gripe is that their form factor is a bit awkward. Fairly heavy for a 112, handles are a tad uncomfortable. They are short - I have screwed feet on the left side of my cab so I can sit it upright when playing through just one.
But once it's on the floor and set up .......... sounds like sex.
I meant to say DB210's. What I'm trying to do is put together a rig that will rival my M6/PH1000 setup, while weighing significantly less and taking up less space. I plan to use it on nights where the stage is small or I'm feeling too lazy to schlep the other stuff. I have never played a gig where I needed to crank my M6/PH1000, so I'm not too concerned about the WA not being loud enough as long as I have a sufficient number of speakers.
My thought is that two DB210's stacked vertically may be a nice setup. Should be nice and punchy, plus I would have the benefit of speakers being closer to my ears. Though, I have never heard a DB210 so I could be completely wrong and this combo may sound like doo doo.
@Blair: nice!
Walkabout+P: there's hardly anything nicer.

If it only worked with a Stingray, I'd be screwed
I know you're just joshing, but, really, the only thing the Walkabout doesn't do well is take something like a Sadowsky or MTD, and "keep it sounding all modern and junk."
Now, don't get me wrong here: I totally dig my Sadowskys thru the Walkabout *because* it knocks down some of that very aggressive treble extension they have, and sweetens it up some. But, if you want that uber-hi-fi, mile-high treble extension, this just isn't the right tool.
Fabulous for about everything else though!
Kwin Smith said:Since this is a brand new thread: I have a 4 ohm WA Scout. I understand they will work just fine with a 2 ohm load, but can one just switch out the 4 ohm speaker with an 8 ohm one? I would love to have a total of 4 ohms with the WA Scout+ the WA radiator, and the quiet fan upgrade.
Anyone do all this themselves?
Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, already!

But, DB sounded great thru the Scout cab, at least for me and my uses.
