Mesa Boogie?

Can anyone tell me about these amps? I'm looking into buying some kind of head and cab that produce very growly lows, but crisp highs. Can anyone tell me if the Mesa's can do that? If they're better for other styles, what companies CAN produce what I'm asking?

Mesa would probably have something in their range to suit you sir.
as would most manufacturers of quality all tube amps like Ampeg, Orange, Hiwatt, Marshall, Reeves, Matamp etc etc.

I think Mesa can do that pretty well. IMO.

I'd suggest just tryin' them out though...oh, and Mesa's are not cheap, so that might be an issue.

Crisp high end for sure with the M6 or 9 Carbine heads paired with the PowerHouse Series 410's. Clear and crispy lows and highs with great growl (bass tone plays a key here). Give the new Mesa bass gear a try and you should be plenty happy.

Seriously though, try some other gear out and figure out your budget. Everyone's ears are different.
