I'm going to try bi-amping the 2x10 and 1x15 with adjustable crossover. I'm a sound guy, too, and this approach is similar to running a PA or high end stereo.
The problem with that plan is, both of those cabs are full range, so neither would be optimal for high or low frequency duty, over the other. It would sound best running them both full range, as they're designed.
Terrible design. Adequate performance. Would rather have basically anything in the Mesa line other than that monstrosity.
In the audio world, speakers perform better when band limited, even when they are full range. Same for amps. You don't think think this applies to bass amplification?
