Mesa M-Pulse 600 Issue

After playing for about 30 mins today I turned on my amp again to hear only a bzzzzzzz electrical noise emanating from my speakers. What did I destroy? I tried a different bass. No sound. Turning the gain knob only creates a very quick and unpleasant increase in the zzzzzzzz sound.
