I've been trying to think of the superlatives to describe this cabinet that will do it a modicum of justice.
I think the simplest thing I can come up with is my verbal response to the moment I dialed up the master volume to roughly 3/4 on the SVT-7 Pro, flat EQ on the Ampeg (though Ultra Lo engaged), Warwick onboard MEC pre eq set flat, and hit an open B. I discovered that the B is short for Brown Note, as quite immediately after letting the sustain ring out, my bowel was on urgent alarm for evacuation.
My words? "F*** ME!".
Quite simply, to my ears, the most perfect sounding cabinet I have ever had the privilege of playing through, let alone owning. My old stage setup years ago was an SWR rig - Mo Bass head, Goliath III 410 and Big Ben 118, and this makes that sadly sound like a cheap pawn shop stack.
The lows that emanate are felt as much as heard. The 12s prove to be possibly the perfect sized driver for bass in delivering massive bass response with incredible punch and clarity. The tweeter is perfectly crisp, and so far render the crossover controls redundant.
The Powerhouse delivers sound on par with some reasonable front of house systems in clubs/pubs I've played in over the years.
And the tonal perfection isn't just at high outputs. It is a veritable practice amp, sounding just as amazing at lower levels - if you can restrain yourself from nudging that master dial more and more.
I feel like Jerry Maguire with this - I look at it and get emotional and whisper "you complete me", blinking back tears of joy.
Anyway, 'nuff of that guff. I threw a condenser on it (for accuracy) and recorded a couple of quick grabs. 1st riff the mic is off axis, 2nd is centred as per photo below. EQ entirely flat. Just a bit of compression, plus a very fresh set of Lo Rider SS's.
