Mesa Subway D800+ suddenly down on power

I have a Mesa D800+ through a Markbass 122 Ninja cab with a Markbass compressor in the effects loop. Has always been reliable. Tonight I plugged in an envelope filter in the effects chain (in series and not the first time) while the amp was on but switched to standby. When I went to play the volume is way down low now. Checked the cab with another amp and it's fine. Any idea what may have happened to the amp and how to fix it? I don't see a fuse or reset button and I've read the manual. Thanks

First, test the amp with nothing else in the signal path except the bass and speaker. If that works fine, the problem is not with the amp.

There is nothing user serviceable in the amp. If there is still a problem (I doubt that there will be), message me and I will go over your service options.

Don't go in there trying to repair it yourself, this usually ends up costing more to repair properly because there's more that has to be inspected and tested for.

All good with the compressor removed. I was pretty sure I tried this but guess not. Thank you. Is it better to run it up front between the bass and thwe amp?

The loop is line level, probably better running your pedal into the front of the amp. Be sure your pedal isn't broken too.

Yes, because most pedals operate at instrument level not line level.
