No difference. Both fine.

As long as your speakON cables are in good working order, there's no difference.

The only potential difference is if you have a cable failure in the first link in a daisy chain (the first amp to cab connection, second cab connected to first cab), it takes out the whole chain and you lose all signal, whereas if you hooked each up directly to the amp, only one cab would go silent in that rare situation.

I've been a 112/115 player since the earliest SW cab days and that is one fine sounding setup. Add in the TT (or any other SW head for that matter) and you will have a hard time getting the smile off your face.

I've always run my cabs that same way (112 on top of 115) for a number of reasons, but have heard folks say they like the 115 on top. One of these days I may have to see if there really is a difference.

One thing that's for sure though, the TT with those cabs is a killer rig.

OBTW, nice non-slip/isolation pad under the TT and that's one sweet bass standing beside the stack. You definitely go first class on everything.

In my world, I'll see your belt and suspenders and raise you one ejection seat and a parachute...nothing wrong with a little redundancy, graceful degradation, and/or back-up.

My take is that there is a little difference if you're standing close to the stack, and the farther away you stand, the more they blend and the less difference it makes which one's on top. I don't think it matters in the house one bit, but on stage without other instruments, it seems to me that the more mids-forward voicing of the 12 is better heard when it's on top when I'm listening at home. I haven't tried to see if there's a difference in a mix, but I doubt there would be an audible difference unless you're standing right next to the stack.

I've gone back and forth myself. I tend to put the 15 on top these days, because I'm mostly taking the 15 solo to gigs, so it's on the launching pad. We're playing a big outdoor show next month (Pyromania at Cedar Lake Cellars for those who are keeping score) and I'll take the stack, but mostly for show, since I'll go through the PA. But they rarely get the chance to sing together at volume, and that's where they're most impressive!

Great inputs and perspectives, thanks!! Your logic makes perfect sense to me and it's why I've always put the 112 on top in addition to generally liking to have the cab that may "cry uncle" first closer to my ears.
